** Welcome to St. Mark P. H. Church as we begin a New Year & focus on new beginnings, hope, strength and God’s faithfulness, with popular verses, including: Isaiah 43:18-19 - “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 - “It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Revelation 21:5 - “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”
** Winter Jam 2026 for our youth will be Saturday, February 14th at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex featuring headliners Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, Katy Nichole and Newsong. Admission is a $15 donation at the door! Please put your name on the sign-up sheet so we will know how many will attend.
** On Saturday, January 10th members & friends of St. Mark joined together in the Fellowship Building to open the time capsule that we created & sealed in 1999. It was a great time of fun & fellowship.
** If you haven’t given your birthday or wedding anniversary to Susan, please do that soon.
** In this new year, let’s remember our sick and shut-ins with a visit, a card or a phone call. Scripture emphasizes this: Matthew 25:40; James 1:27 and Hebrews 13:2.
